How it works
Your paperwork stays put. Agent does the checking.
Agent works inside Claude, the AI assistant made by Anthropic. You ask a question in plain English, and Claude checks Agent's rulebook before it answers.
How does Agent work?
- Your paperwork stays where it is.On your computer, in the storage you already use, in your email. Nothing is uploaded to us.
- Claude, with Agent added, reads it when you ask.It checks what you hold against the rules that apply to your farm, and those rules are kept current and dated.
- You get answers you can check. Each one names the rule, the official source and the date it was checked. Then come a map of what applies to your farm, a wall calendar, a weekly routine, and an audit binder when an inspector is due.
- What it never does.It never holds your files, never sends anything without you, and never claims to replace your vet, your agent or your auditor.
What do I need?
A computer, a Claude account and about an hour to set up. Claude has a free plan, and busier farms may want a paid one. Agent is free while you're on the pilot.
My paperwork is all over the place. Where do I start?
Make one place where everything goes: a farm inbox. It can be a folder on your computer, or in Dropbox or OneDrive if you already use them. Save into it your email attachments, photos of receipts and paper records, and any pictures of the farm you need for your records. When you want something done, tell Claude to look in the inbox and sort it out. Stanley can set it up with you.
How do I know the rules are right?
Every rule comes from its official source: gov.uk, the law itself, or the scheme's own standard. Each carries the date we last checked it. We check the fast-moving rules every week and the whole rulebook every month, and every change is logged.
What if I'm not good with computers?
You type a question the way you'd ask a neighbour. If you'd rather someone set it up with you, ring Stanley.
